Wafir
Wafir is a kind of musician scarcely found. From Sudan, he is a remarkably accomplished multi-instrumentalist. He has the facility to play whichever type of instrument he chooses. He is regarded as a virtuoso on the accordion, violin and oud. His compositions are based on the Nile river's culture. Wafir was one of the main members of Radio Tarifa and he is currently a member of the Madrid-based ensemble, La Banda Negra. He has developed a reputation for being an easy collaborator, he transmits a feeling of open respect and creativity, and everyone loves to work with him.
