Vieux Farka Touré

Since his childhood, Bouriema “Vieux Farka” Touré has been enamoured with the music of his father, Ali Farka Touré. Having suffered in the music industry, Ali did not want his son to follow his path as a musician. He forbade Vieux to play music, but his son was determined to pursue his musical aspirations. In 1999, openly defying his father’s wishes, Vieux began to play guitar and compose music.
