Soumahoro Ben Mamadou aka Soum Bill comes from Camoé in the Southern part of Ivory Coast. After joining the band Mini Choc, he created the band Les Salopards, then released his first solo album. Winner of the 2003 Kora Awards, the young Zulu music star with a political and social message composed the song "Gneze," which became the official 2006 World Cup anthem for the Ivory Coast national team.
