Yeux Noirs (Les)

The two brothers Eric and Olivier Slabiak, being descendants of a pre-war Gypsy family, and having had a classical education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, are sure to have an instinct for this type of music. Franck Compagnola, of Italian origin, has delved into many types of music, in particular Jazz. Pascal Rondeau (guitar) and François Perchat (cello) also benefited from a classical music education before veering towards gypsy music. Micha Nisimov, a Bulgarian gypsy, is a well-known accordeon player in France as well as abroad.
