Kerfala Kanté

Guinean singer and guitarist born in a family of griots, he learns to play the balafon very early, then the acoustic guitar, and joins the band Tropical Djoli in 1980. In 1984, he is invited to enter the great orchestra "Balla et ses Balladins", created in the 60s. He records a first tape, which will be followed by several albums, including the two latest, released on CDs, of a style of music described as electronic manding.
