Dozan
Dozan is a brilliant Jordan-based group founded by Shireen Abu-Khader, with some extraordinarily talented musicians. Shireen's goal was to reinvent traditional Christian and Muslim hymns found in the music of Jordan. The band is composed of Feras Hattar on the viola, Fadi Hattar on the cello, Humam Eid on the oud and Mohammad Taha on percussions. It welcomes the crystalline vocals of Ms. Abu Khader and Ms. Shahuan, and the richly wrought vocals of Mr. Sabbagh.
