Deep Poets
DEEP POETS consists of four artists: Alibabeu, Kinkely, Architekt, and Baaboo Rhymz’. They created D.P. in the late 90’s in Dakar, Senegal. The groups’ members wanted to give a new intelligent approach to the hip hop scene. Maahaaza? was put on the market in April 2005. It consists of an international collage of work between New York, Atlanta, and Dakar. “The apostles of intelligent and disciplined rap, Deep Poets Maahaaza? is a striking album created from a multitude of musical colors and languages (Arabic, English, French, Wolof).
