Cesar Lima
Cesar Lima has joined the ranks of the finest living Cape Verdean guitarists. To appreciate Cesar's talent, we invite you to his new album -- released just a few weeks ago. This new recording shows off Cesar's well refined guitar technique with a collection of melodies executed with a certain ease. Cesar is a master of blending the traditional Cape Verdean musical styles with contemporary arrangements. The songs included are a family affair as Cesar is joined by his mother, Lourdes Santos. Procedes from the sale of the 'Reflections' CD benefit the Cape Verde Children project which provides children sponsorship service for Cape Verdean children. Cesar was raised on the Island of Sao Vicnete where he grew up playing with and learning from musicians like Luis Morais, Vasco Martins and Bau.
