Ayhan Sicimoglu
Originally from Turkey, Ayhan Sicimoglu played for a while in Italy, before heading to New York and becoming a regular on the Latin club circuit. He also studied world percussion in the famous Berklee School of Music. Now back in Istanbul, Sicimoglu has combined his love of latin rhythms with Turkish sensibilities playing with many famous bands and artists. One of Turkey’s most renowned percussionists, he has earned the title “Il Principo Turco” in Latin music circles.
