The Ashiq art is the shape of artistic expression the most appreciated by the people of the Republic of Azerbaijan. These people divide up between the South of Caucasus, Iran and Russia and represents approximately fifty millions persons. An Ashiq is at the same time a poet, a composer, a player of a long fingerboard' s lute (called the "saz"), a narrator, a dancer, improviser who owes himself to enounce his name in the last cerses of his poems.
